Paying Fines
If you have been charged with one of the offenses listed below and would like to plead guilty and pay the fine and court costs with having to appear in court, you may sign the citation and mail the citation along with the full amount to the address indicated. If your charge is not listed below and/or you wish to plead NOT GUILTY, you must appear at the indicated date, time and place listed on your citation.

COURT APPEARANCE REQUIRED CITATION
If your citation requires a court appearance, you must appear in court on the court date listed on the citation. You will appear before the municipal prosecutor and the municipal judge and enter a plea on the charge. If you plead guilty, the judge will determine your fine amount and you will be able to pay the fine at that time. If you plead not guilty, your will be for Trial either that day or continued to the next court date.
If you do not know whether or not your citation required a court appearance, you may contact the Woodstock Municipal court or you may check the fine schedule. If you do not see your citation listed on the fine schedule, please contact the court office at 205-938-9790.
PAYMENT SCHEDULES ARE AVAILABLE, if you need to placed on a payment schedule that requires a court appearance.
If you do not appear in court on your assigned court date nor if payment does not reach the clerk’s office by your court date, your driver’s license may be suspended and a warrant may be issued for your arrest. Additional costs will be incurred to you.
Court is the second Tuesday of each month at 1:30.
